Ford Focus - is the ford focus tdci fuel pump coded? - carfy313

Hi,is the fuel pump on an 03 focus tdci coded? if so to recode ecu does it have to go to ford? or can any good auto elc do it? cheers

Fuel pumps on common rail diesels (including this car) are not coded.The injectors are,but only need coding for fine adjustment.hth

so if i had changed an engine and it still wont start after iv coded injectors would you be looking at it being imobelised? during starting orange glow plug light flashes!??
