hi again poeple, my car is making a loud huming noise from the front on braking,it has groved discs but only started making this noise about 2 weeks ago,i checked the pads and there looked abit low (about 3 to 5mm) left on them so i replaced the front pads but car is still making this noise on braking,almost like a grinding sound,could this be the bearing i know ther make a noise when driving but never known to sound bad on braking.thanks for any advise.lee

Most likely a wheel bearing, listen carefully when you are cornering, is it louder one way than the other? If so it usually the side you are throwing the weight on to - but not always.

hi yes im pretty certian its the front passenger side jacked the car up today and the wheel wobbles getting it looked at tomorow thanks,lee
