I took my car to the garage as it stopped working after not being used for the month od December. The AA suggested that I get my coil pack tested. Investigation by my garage showed that My No 4 Injector was faulty. I have had my No 4 Injector replaced and the spark plugs changed. The coil pack and battery were checked over.

I have been driving it now for two weeks and the Airbag light is now permanently on and it beeps when I apply the handbrake. The speedometer now no longer moves from zero.

Any ideas what is wrong and is it safe to drive?

Check the fusebox near the battery, common fault on these cars, usually caused by moisture getting into them.

Sorry no solution but my Pug is doing exactly the same thing as yours....no speedo, airbag light comes on and beeps whenever I apply the handbrake......surely has to be the same problem!

Very frustrating and not sure where to start in fixing it....

I have a peugeot 306 with the same airbag light problem. I read on another forum that this is caused by a loose connector under the front passenger seat but haven't had time to check it out yet.

my speedo fails occasionaly with a slight drop in power I don't know what is the cause though,

Hi i was wondering if you managed to figure out what the problem was? I have just bought the same car and the speedo stays at zero as well as airbag light being on and hanbrake beeping,thanks
