After any advice, my Peugeot 806 HDI 2001 model has developed a fuel gauge fault, whereby the needle will sometimes flit from the correct reading to absolutely full. Then empty. Then jiggering around half full.
A main dealer has checked everything from the instruments back ie: sender etc. No problems there.
So its the instruments themselves they've said, and a problem inside I suspect.
Is there a way an electrical guru could pop the instruments open, and possibly find a simple broken/loose connection? To replace the entire instrument section is over £750.
Thanks!
