2006 Prius - Prius brakes - brian boru

2006 Prius brakes squeak intermittently during normal driving then scream blue murder during braking. Any ideas ?

The pads and discs don't get used as much due to the regenerative braking. Therefore the pads can get a little glazed and start squealing. I had this with my 05 Prius. The dealer roughed up the pads a bit and problem solved (for a little while, then returned). My mkIII doesn't seem to suffer with this.
