2000 saxo 1.1 spi - saxo 1.1 bottom ends difference? - saxopower

hi all just bought a 2000 saxo 1.1 on single point injection with a blown bottom end,

i have a 2003 1.1 mpi engine with low milage in my garage doing nothing.

can anyone tell me if the bottom ends are the same as i was just going to put the 2003 bottom end on the spi top end rather than changing wiring loom ecu's etc.

Mechanically they are identical, however that's not to say there won't be differences with ignition related mechanical parts crank/trigger wheels etc.
