Ford Galaxy - 4x4 version of Ford S-Max or Galaxy - Optimus Prime

Does anyone know if Ford sells (or did sell) a 4 wheel drive version of the S-Max or the Galaxy? I thought that I saw a road test a few years ago where they took an AWD version of the S-max up to the Alps.

A 4 wheel drive Galaxy would be very handy.

Likewise, if anyone knows of a 4 wheel drive Toyota Previa then please let me know.

I think there was a V6 AWD galaxy model. I've never seen one, ever. I imagine they are the proverbial rocking horse dropping.

There is an equivalent VW Sharan 4 Motion which is pretty much the same thing (again i've never seen one).

The Previa 4wd exists - import only and its called the Estima or Lucida Estima I think, not 100% sure. There's a few of them around in the UK check out fleabay and its probably worth your while checking out the UK specialist Japanese importers as if they have one it will likely be in better condition than the not undersealed ones run in the UK over many years.

The Galaxy was offered in 4WD form using the 2.8 VW V6 engine and 4WD transmission.That was the old Galaxy/Sharan/Alhambra-the current Galaxy and S Max are only 2WD.
