Hi,

My Peugeot 406 is running well only when the engine is cold(although difficult to start), but after a few minutes the engine starts to misfire and to lose power. The spark plugs are OK

but 2 of them was covered by oil and dirt. I removed the injector`s plug and the engine

wanted to stop. Can it be the injector?

I would suggest looking for an air leak , as it may be when its cold and rich enough it can cope with running band as the mixture weakens its fizzles out.
Coolant temp sensor is the next thing to check to make sure its reading correctly< will need diag gear for that !
Fuel filter, has it been replaced recently or it could be blocked preventing fuel pressure ?

Thanks for your help.
The fuel filter was replaced 8000 miles ago.
Two spark plug were coverd by dirt and a bit of oil when I checked them,
and when I disconnected the injector at the good spark plugs the engine wanted to stop. Thanks
