Mercedes-Benz A-Class (W 169) - Wheel size for winter tyres - Chippychap

Hi Folks,

I live in West Yorkshire where they invented hills.

Are there any wheels, other than eye-wateringly expensive ally types that will fit?

Stupid example, if corsa wheels fitted I could keep a spare set with winter tyres until needed.

Even stuff like Merc vans or anything where a reasonable steel wheel can be used.

If you read in the car handbook it will list all the wheel and tyre sizes suitable for your model, this info should also be on the tyre pressure chart, usually on the petrol flap or in the door jamb.

A Mercedes dealer can advise if you cant find this info.

Just avoid the chinese tyres, stick to European brands, Nokian and Vredestein are particularly good in winter tyres.
