I have a 2001X Peugeot 206 2.0 HDi which seems to have gone crazy over the last few days. Basically all the indicators are permenantly lit, dull & not at full brightness. The rear fog light indicator on the dash is also permenantly on, again dull but when the brake pedal is pressed it gets brighter & also the milometer goes dull.

When the indicator stalk is moved to the on postion for either the left or right side both sides actually flash like when the hazards are turned on. This causes the engine revs to drop slightly with every flash. It also causes the milometer to go every when the indicators flash on

Also when the engine is running it cuts out when the brake pedal is pressed. It doesn't cut out if the car is moving & in gear. but for instance when you pull up to a junction & press the clutch & brake pedal it cuts out & also cuts when car is idling & the brake is pressed. I was told to pull out fuses 1 at a time that are for lights etc. So when i pulled the fuse out for the left rear brake light/high level b/light it cured the cutting out but the lights problem is still there
