Hi I have just replaced the cup seal and o ring in my master mechanics trolley jack.

I Have filled it with new oil through the fill + bleed cap. The problem i have is that when i try and jack it up with the handle it wil not lock off so i can lift the handle and pump it again.It just see saws between the cylinder and the handle.Has any one had this problem?
