I have a diesel Seat Alhambra which recently came back from the dealership having been serviced and a new MAF sensor. From cold, when starting, the oil pressure warning lamp flashes twice and then goes out. The dealer hasn't been very helpful, suggesting that it is nothing to be worried about. I checked the top of the oil filter and saw that a wire was off. I put this back on (assuming it was the wire to the oil pressure switch) but that changed nothing. If the vehicle has been recently running, the oil lamp doesn't flash. I suspect that the oil switch has developed a fault, and that this is some kind of early warning. Any ideas?
Thanks
