Sawtooth problem with nearside Rear wheel worn inner edge ...is this alignment or worn shocks. Any Fixes would be apreciated..

Swa tooth is classic for worn shocks..

It is conceivable they could also lead to side wear but unlikley.. Sort shocks first and get a 4 wheel alignment done - ATS £25 computerised is good.. (they do a free check as well)

Probably caused by someone jacking it up under the rear axle and bending it.

My Superb has a nicely made plastic notice warning against doing this, fitted with tie holes to fix it to the axle.

With typical Teutonic logic, the notice is included in the pack of car documents...

(Possibly detailed by the same guy who made the dipstick on my diesel engine black).

Yes.....there are some signs of leakage on the n/s shock but nothing major. My local tyre specialist does employ a lot of trainee's and this may be the cause of the jacking problem.... probably no joy going down that road then?
