My tale may pertain to a competitor of Webuyallcars but here goes.....

We just had to sell SWMBO's 7 month old Golf VI due to an unexpected assignment abroad (in itself a pleasant surprise). I rang around a few VW dealers and then tried a competitor just to see.

Their web-quote offer was around £3000 below the lowest main dealer offer (itself bringing a sobering loss in 7 months) . I have since been bombarded with emails from them imploring me to sell my car at their insulting offer price.... I can't see how to delist myself from their website so have categorised them as junk mail.

My guess is that most of their customers are desperate sellers who've overstretched themselves financially or run into difficult circumstances? My advice is that you can probably do better elsewhere.....
