BMW 320d 1994 - Bluetooth - New Mobile - Tedwood

I have had this car from new, using a Nokia 6310i with Bluetooth. Phone has packed up and need new with Bluetooth compatible with the BMW's. Have checked out the BMW site for compatability, but cannot enter my model year, possibly because it's too old? Anyone help please?

Any mobile with bluetooth will work there must be loads of new Nokia phones that will work if you want to stay with Nokia.I doubt the bluetooth is BMW original kit not from 1994 it was not invented until 1994 by Ericssons and not available in cars for quite while afterwards.

You can still buy 6310i refurbished its a big market a muched loved reliable phone.

You can still buy 6310i refurbished its a big market a muched loved reliable phone. Yes, but refurbished in China with original motherboards, and flaky cases, and false labels saying "Made in Finland" which they never were, being made in Germany.

Sorry Andy, I mistakenly put 1994 instead of 2004. For some reason not all Bluetooth phones are compatible with it. The Nokia 6310i was one of the few that were OK.

Thats more like it,actually you can get UK 6310i recon phones with proper Nokia mother boards and proper Nokia cases just google for them.

Its the bluetooth protcol used in the BMW it works best with Nokia phones as I think the unit is actually Nokia derived.
