Ford Mondeo 53 plate 04 TDCI Zetec s - Car makes wooshing noise under acceleration - stella.a

Car has been running fine but since i accelerated very hard there has been what is best described as a whooshing sound coming from the engine, the car also seems a little sluggish compared to what it was when accelerating. The car does not make the sound when the engine is being revved under no load. Your thoughts gents would be appreciated.

Sounds like you have blown off or split the Turbo output pipe. Very close inspection required. Regards Peter
