I actually prefer this one to the other that I think you have in mind.

Absolutely - just don't like the tone of some of the posts over yonder.

i`m a member of Fiat-forum and find that compliments my interest in the Back Room - with it being marque specific - yet not duplicating content.

Also I occasionally read the Car Mechanics forum and general car based usenet forums such as UK cars Maintenance and to an extent Misc.

But to an increasing extent I`ve become interested in Symbian forums.

Funny how an interest in forums can be triggered. In my case it was last Summer and with Vodafone making a minimum call charge up to 20p. I was perusing their site to try to find out if it was 20p even for a few seconds when one of those chat boxes popped up - and I got talking to a rep.

I asked about 15 times -- but never got a sraight answer until I managed to put a question that seemingly couldn`t be evaded..

I didn`t like that conversation and we swapped phone providers after over 10yrs with Vodafone - to 3 - where you get free 3 to 3 calls.

That triggered an interest in Smart Phones and through that - Symbian and Nokia forums...

I like a good input of new members - much as you get, in particular, on Tech in the Back-Room.

In no way is that intended to be derogatory to other forums where there may be overlap of content - I often browse through most of them and respect their members and posts.

It`s only the internet, after all, ain`t it? a little amusement - hoping to lighten the day, by writing something, that you hope may interest - or by reading someone else`s work.
