Perhaps it is safer to drive when on the phone? - dieseldogg

As opposed to parking in at least, inconsiderately, at worst dangerously, to answer the phone.

this from my own local observations.

PS

It's mostly women at fault, I suppose the men still keep driving.

Fortunately my cardiovascular system has not had that particular stimulation.

No: but yes, but no : like, kinda

I meant the parking on the blind crest, parking on the apex of a corner, parking meteres past or before a suitable "slap" or hard shoulder , parking with a good metre between the nearside and the verge, etc etc etc etc.

ALL symptomatic of driving with brain disengaged and NOT thinking before acting.

With in -ear Bluetooth devices being readily available for a few pounds, there seems little excuse for not using one when driving.Bluetooth equipped radios are falling in price and IMHO should be fitted as standard to new cars. Mine(Blaupunkt) is fine for answering a call safely, but is too fiddly to make a call on the move though.
