ford mondeo 2.0 zetec mk2 - smoking - mondeovinny

my mondeo has covered nearly 150000miles and every time i first start up it smokes clouds of blue smoke, after a couple of mile it stops and runs fine. any ideas what it is ? and the mot and cambelt are due next months should i get rid now or is it worth fixing?

Worn valve guides or failed valve seals most likely.

Use thicker oil and run it for another 50k miles.
