Hi guys. Crinkly Dave got off the fence and bought one of these as I fell in love with the old 1.9 engine, and the new 1.6 was even quieter.

Anyone know any links to explain how the DPF works, and any problems, as I know the Fiat version can have problems, as the "burning cycle" requires extra fuel, and if this does not turn off it has caused problems with sumps being filled with diesel.

Nice to drive, apart from occasional minor power drop, hardly noticeable, as if glow plugs and air con kicked in together, and CD player does not illustrate the CD name and track name.

Only problem is I used to wail down the country lanes with my Toad "peep peep" and smile to say, my 15 year old Punto is worth less than your headlight, but now the tables are turned.
