My mother in law has a C3 52 reg. When we recently put in a cd player instead of the standard fit cassette player, the doors would lock themsleves when driving, and casue the warning sound (beeps when seatbelts not fastened) to sound continously.

we put the old cassete player in and all was fine. Anyway now she has another CD Player installed, this time by a garage (they did it foc). She went to the shops, and locked the car with the remote fob and when she returned, nothing happened. the car would not unlock by the fob or by manualy using the lock on the door. after being stuck for hours she called out the AA, who could not get in the car and they lifted it home and put it outside her house.

The AA mentioned going to citroen and getting them to have a look, as he says it could be the acutual central locking motor has gone caput, or its and ECU fault. he seems to think that its is related to the radio as we have had the simular problems before.

Any ideas anybody before she commits herself at citroens will?
