i have a 2009 fiesta (1.6 petrol) and above the petrol gauge in the small window below the trip meter mpg etc display there is a light not shown in the manual. what is this for?

it is currently flashing red when i switch off and continues to flash until i insert the key and switch on.

is this a problem i should get looked at or normal behaviour?

all other warning lights come on and then go out again when i start the car?

also how do i adjust the clock? thats not in the owner manual either even thiugh therte is an entry in the index ?
