Just a bit of useful info really. My hard drive died on my Macbook which is well out of warranty. Took it into apple on Friday and picked it up yesterday. They had replaced the hard drive and up graded it from 60 gigabyte to 160 gigabyte plus replaced the casing as it was a bit scruffy! cost? two trips up to Southampton. also the chap advised me on how best to upgrade the RaM myself, rather than paying them, so I could use Leopard - see, pays to be nice!
For those Mac users, apple are replacing casings on their computers which are showing signs of use/age, so worth a trip into an apple store if yours is battered.
