98 1.8 P0115 - matmo
EML came on a couple of weeks ago, so did the paperclip test and got P0115 fault code (temp sensor circuit malfunction). I fitted a new coolant temp sensor friday evening and the eml went away but came back approx 24 hrs later. Did the paperclip test again and got the same code. Is it possible the code needs wiping and all would be well? And could I do this by disconnecting the battery or would I need to get it done with a tech2? During the 2 weeks the eml was on it did disappear a couple of times but only for a short while each time (approx 10 mins). Many thanks in advance.
