It seems like Fiat are up to their old tricks. Lets change the nose on the Punto and bung the price up. I remember they ruined the car once before in the early 2000s with a nose job. Oh and how come my old £7k car is now a £14k hatchback. How long before the discounts fall out of the sky. Since when did anyone pay £14k for a Punto, Id like to see the depreciation curve on that one. Botox for my old car anyone?

How much has your income gone up in that time?

My income has not doubled in that time, so why should car prices?
I know that the strength (or otherwise) of sterling is having an effect on all imported goods, but people will stop buying cars at this rate.

That is why the Korean cars are selling very well at the moment.
Almost proper pricing.
None of this increase car costs several times in a year BS (namely Ford).

It does seem rather pricey but from what Ive read its a fair bit more than just a new nose. New engine technology for one.
