Well I didn't get any car tat, in fact it's been a pretty tat free Christmas I'm pleased to say. So Happy Christmas everyone, the nights are pulling out, we'll have snowdrops through in a few days, then the dafs, before you know it the hedges and trees will be turning green (I'm always amazed at the way one plant/tree goes first. There can be a length of hedge, a line of trees and one is turning green. All of the rest say "not yet, I'm not risking it. Let's see what happens to him first"). So Happy New Year everone. Oh, and Happy Easter. There, that's got that out of the way.

Car interior wipes and a scraper within a mitt. Very thoughtful but a bit girly; I think blokes ought to scrape the snow and ice off with bare hands.

I'm really jealous of son's satnav; a Mio M300 for less than £50 from Halfords. It's modern GPS receiver is completely unfazed by the athermic windscreen of the C8 whereas my old separate receiver quietly dies a death unless it's in a rear window.

Got £40 vouchers for the model railway shop and a Bachmann 00 gauge Class 45 ' Peak ' diesel...very nice.
That's it ! We don't do pressies...only partners and littles. Son keeps forgetting. Bought SWMBO a digital photo frame , a Delia book and a CD.
5 yr old grandson , amongst loads of stuff, got some bath bubble capsules, made to look like, and called, 'Bogeys '.....sweet !
Wanted to get grand-daughter a 'My little Pony Euthanasia Kit, with spare bolts ' but the shops were empty.......upset horse lovers there !
My birthday on Tuesday so there'd better be some classy stuff arrive !

But I have found a use for it, it's now adorned with her Ford Escort key..... Heh, Heh, Heh!

I was dreading the possibility of having to say "Thanks very much, just what I wanted" as I unwrapped the latest Jermy Clarkson book! As if people might have thought "I know, Sofa's interested in cars, he'll like that" Luckily I didn't get the said book!!

I got a 'Satnag'..which is a cheap product that looks a bit like a Satnav, with a button to press..and each time you do so a female voice comes out with all the cheesy one liners that highlight the difference between the sexes..in fairness, it's actually quite funny (to start with)

It is a Stress Toy. I can squash its head ( is that Michael in there?) but must remember not to stretch it more than four times its length.
