Recently I changed the battery on this car, & in so doing I lost the radio coding.I have had this car from almost new & so have the handbook supplied with the radio with the figure coding. This is apparently wrong as it won't work. I am now on No. 6 of 10 allowable attempts before the radio locks out, any advice please.
Radio model 6000 CD RDS E.O.N made in Portugal.

Your dealer or specialist firms will supply the code;you need the serial number off the radio(NOT the part number).

Main dealer will charge main dealer prices, go on web put in radio code price is about £4 instant code need radio serial number,

Thankyou dam,my thoughts entirely about main dealers, it would probably be less expensive to buy a new radio. The main dealer is the handbook recommendation.
Can you recommend anyone else?

Vauxhall charge something like £15 to £20 for a replacement Car Pass. This, among other things has the stereo code on it.
I can't see Ford being overly expensive for similar information.
