01 1.7 Dti Non starter isuzu engine - Robskier
My van just stopped running AA said it could be ECU on back of diesel injection pump. I have had this repaired but it still will not start. Fault code reads P0251 spill valve malfuction (injectior pump). Turns over fine. Has anyone got any suggestions?.

Spill valve fault is normally a fault with the injection pump ecu that is attached to the back of the engine.I would think that the repair has not been successful.Vibration and heat cause dry solder joints on the printed circuit ,however there are often components that fail .These units can be very tricky to rebuild with good results.hth
