Website hanging in Internet Explorer [Read Only] - peter973
The website in Internet Explorer is frequently hanging when selecting Make/Model of car.

No problem with other websites.

Anyone else getting same problem ??

I couldn't access the site at work on IE, but it is working fine on Firefox on my laptop.

Definitely a problem with IE. I get the same issue but FF is OK.

Other websites seem OK with IE.

I'll email the site support people when I get on my other computer later. I have problems on IE6 on my laptop running XP but it's fine in Google Chrome.

There's a mass of adservers and suchlike. Probably one or more of them causing the problem rather than the site itself.

IE6 is not meant to work and should no longer be in existance, it is so non compliant decrepit browser, that all the site hacks that made it work are being scrapped.

But it is still widely used.

I've emailed the support people to make them aware (if they weren't already). It is probably an ad-server outside of their control.
