Used car values in 6 months? time? - Andy60
I was thinking of changing car next spring, but I?m having second thoughts after yesterday?s CAP report saying that prices have been rising.

Are present values likely to hold, or could there be significant movement either way over the next 6 months?
Current car is a 2005 Seat Altea TDi.

I'd have thought that with decent maintenance that vehicle should have lots of life left in it, unless you are doing very high mileage. Why not just keep it?

NW, that's just along the lines of what I usually do.
Next spring I'll have had the Altea for 4 years - about my normal length of ownership.
