My battery died bought a new one but inadvertantly put terminals on wrong.Got another new battery but wires were not long enough changed wires, put new battery on worked fine. Went to start it this morning but battery was dead any ideas.

My battery died bought a new one but inadvertantly put terminals on wrong= By doing this you may have killed a component like above.
If your not sure what your doing best take it to a garage.
