98 1.9 warning lights - kelant
Hi i have an S reg 1.9 turbo diesel the light in the bottom left hand corner is always coming on before i start the car and goes off after a while it looks like the top of a bottle with watre underneath as i do not have yhe manual have no ides what this means please could anyone help

It means low coolant. You probably have a small leak in the radiator or (pray it isnt) the heater matrix.

Mine came on because of a leaky (newly replaced) waterpump. But in a 10-year-old car it could be anywhere in the cooling circuit, especially if coolant hasn't been regularly renewed. Possibly expensive ... but just top up the rad to the mark - or better, renew the coolant - and see what happens.
