I have a 1.8 Zetec with 113bhp, which is good, but as I live in a very mountainous area it would be good to have a bit more power there. I have read about changing the throttle body, MAF and injectors for those off a 2.0 Mondeo 136bhp which supposedly gives 130bhp. Would this work? or is there another way of doing this? (Apart from ECU remapping and straight through exhaust etc)
Cheers

You would have to have the ECU re-mapped to adapt to the new hardware. And you would have to tell your insurance company who will delighted to up your premium. Regards Peter

In a moutainous area it's practically useless to increase fuel...high areas are poor in oxygen and air pressure, so a bigger turbo or an increase in boost with an override for the wastegate / boost controller might suit you better! increasing the fuel might choke the engone and / or clog your catalyzer due to increased soot!
