Has anyone got any comments on the Avensis 2-2 D4D diesel automatic or the 2-0 CVT !! also what is the fuel economy like on these models and are there any design faults on the Avensis !! I know the electronic handbrake is not very popular

Yes I did read the road tests on this site and thought your review was very informative as your reviews usually are !!
I would consider the petrol CVT but do wonder if resale value will hold up as much as the diesel and driving a diesel at the moment do like the extra torque you get !!
Unfortunately it is hard to find a Toyota dealer with a Automatic to test drive but I believe there is one being put on the road in the next few weeks at my Toyota dealer
