You'll probably find a breakers yard will be best for a '98 car, I needed a new heater blower fan for my 97 Escort (with a/c, the fan is different to non a/c models) and in the end I found somewhere with the fan, evaporator and housing for £25 all in, I simply left a deposit and called for it the next day when they'd removed it from the car.
I don't know where you are but there is a guy who breaks Volvos on the A1 at Wyboston, Cambs. He's got dozens and dozens of them.
