04 2.0 fuel leak - jon-george

i have had a strong smell of fuel for some time and no one managed to find it but today i took it too a different garage and he found it right away and has said that it is common on mondeo's and most places just replace the fuel pump

the fuel leak was from inside the fuel pump they called it a fuel limiter. they said when that wears it causes a fuel leak and if i went to ford they would jsut say change the pump at a cost of over 1000 pounds
