That's very inconvenient. Are you telling us what has happened or asking a question? I am sure people would like to help but they don't know what you want. Petrol/diesel, has it just been serviced etc?

Have you another key you can try? Total guess that the light is flashing because of an immobiliser related fault. Ultimately though it sounds like you need to have it hooked up to a diagnostic reader and have any fault codes read out.
