This is a bit of a strange one and I don't know if anyone will even be interested, but here goes!
I have fitted a s14 200sx engine and gear box into an e30 bmw, in the nissan everything ran fine, I have put everything in the bm including the full wiring harnes. When I start the car with the afm disconnected it will rev fine up to 2500 where it seems to hit a rev limiter, as soon as I reconnect the the afm it struggles to idle and won't rev at all. Does this sound like the afm has been damaged in storage? The two wires in the afm look in tact.
