94 2.0 Immobiliser removal and loss of ignition - royboy
I have removed the 918T ECU unit from my Rav 4.First I could not run the starter motor
until I was told to connect together the leads going to Pins 14 & 15 on the 15 pin socket. Others may be interested in this as it took me a while to find this out.
I was highly chuffed to find the starter motor now functioned . That was the good news, the bad news was that the car still didn't start.
It would appear I have also lost the ignition circuit.
Can anyone help please!

It is possible that the alarm system cuts more than just the starter circuit.Try reconnecting the 15 pin socket wth the pins14 and 15 by-passed.Alternatively you may have blown a fuse for the ignition system.hth
