1998 1.8TDi EEC V PCM - 55tdi
Hi - I have fitted a 1998 Escort TDi (Endura DE) engine into my 2000 Escort Van (originally non-turbo). Fairly straight swap apart from the need for an engine wiring loom and ECU to run the fuel pump advance/retard etc, etc. I have the loom from a doner Escort TD and do not have a real problem in physically integrating it with my existing loom, but the problem I am having is how the ECU takes a live feed?? Can I just put the loom and ECU in and connect it up to all the sensors and actuators on the engine and it will work?? Or, does a separate 12 volt feed need to be run to it?? It is a Ford EEC V PCM with 104 pin connector - though which wire is the 'live in' is the problem!! Where can I get a proper wiring diagram for EEC V engine looms/ecu's??

Cheers,

Stuart.
