02 2.0HDI ECU Not Talking to Injectors - brokad
Just had a phone call from Pugeout saying my Fault that occured regarding my flashing light is the ECU. Reckon the Month old battery has caused it to spike and knackered the initial process that tells fuel system to engage.

Any Ideas? Is this garbage or sound about right. There charging me 3 1/2 hrs labour at 92 to tell me this.

Regards

Did this problem occur immediately after the fitting of the new battery?
If so, then it is possible that a voltage spike on re-connection of power has corrupted the ECU or immobiliser system. If the problem started some time after the battery replacement then I think it very unlikely to be the cause. Is the dealer inferring that the ECU requires replacement?

Hi,

Just wanted to resolve this issue. Took the car to the main dealer again they said one of the injectors was causing the ecu to fault. Had the injector changed solved that problem. But now the car gone back to smoking heavyly.

Cheers for the interest
