1993 4.2TD Fungus in diesel tank - Dave N
As this car doesn't get used much, how do I keep the fuel tank/lines etc dry and stop fungus (or whatever it's called) from growing? It's kept in a cold garage with lot's of condensation.

I give it some Millers every so often (for what it's worth), but not sure if this will help to keep it dry etc.

Keep the fuel tank full as possible all the time in winter (to exclude moisture laden air) and drain any water from the fuel filter. Fit a new one if its a canister type. Don`t use `de-watering` additives that can get rid of water by taking it through the pump.
