I had engine management light come on and so had the fault codes read, it came up with 19586 egr system control range exceeded p3130 intermittent.
I had the egr valve removed and it was cleaned as the valve plunger area was coked up, valve was put back on and fault code removed from ecu. however it has come back on again with the same fault.
any ideas??
its a lovely car but this blooming engine light is annoying me, i want it to go away on a more permanent basis, to put it nicely.

Check the EGR operating solenoid and it's hoses for a vacuum leak.
