Does anyone know what the additional running costs are for a DSG gearbox over a manual equivalent?
I've read that the gearbox needs a fluid top-up at 40k miles which is quite dear, but this wasn't substantiated.
I'm thinking of buying a 2.0 GT FSI DSG as they seem good value, but don't want to be hit with huge maintenance costs.

at 40k the DSG needs fluid change, not top-up, FL - cost about £140 fm good indy
