Car hit by uninsured drunk - how to claim? - fordprefect

Last night a scrote hit the rearmost of 3 parked cars (daughter's car was middle of three so damaged front and rear) and ran off after torching his untaxed,uninsured wreck as seems to be SOP in these cases.

My daughter will ring her insurer in the morning, questions are:

1) If she claims on her own fully comp policy, will the insurer need details of the innocent owner/car pushed into hers by the offender?

2) Will the insurer of the innocent owner/car hers was pushed into claim from her?
3) I presume her insurers will need a crime number from the BiB?
4) All cars were recovered to a Police compound by the Police recovery contractor - will they charge for this (West Yorkshire) and if so is this recoverable from her insurer?
