>>I don't generally listen to music of any sort anywhere . . .
Nor, do I Dipstick, nor do I.
I did enjoy your clip, though.
Here's another one I that I find entertaining.

Dunno if it's music, though.

My favourite must be the opening sequence to The Italian Job. Matt Munro crooning whilst a Lambo Miura Canes it (geddit?) round mountain roads.
Pure beauty!

Italian Job - Matt Munro - Days Like These: No mention of cars in the lyrics though a nice song.
-------
"Fill her up"
Mobil station,
Where I stand
This old gas pump
In my hand.
The boss dont like me
Face like a weasel,
All on my hands
The smell of diesel.
Here comes the big shot,
Here he comes!
From the city.
God damn!
A V-8 engine
She runs so pretty.

Can't do it.
Unless I'm on a motorway I just can't listen to music in the car.
I'm a paranoid listener for funny noises in my cars at the best of times, and when the music is on I tend to hear the low-pitched hum of the engine more, and find myself constantly pausing the CD only to hear virtual silence from the engine bay.
Drives me nuts. I prefer the sound of the engine anyway.
