Warranty Direct query info wanted - Tron
I have been approached by this company regarding a policy to cover my vehicle that also includes the LPG side of things.

£250 pa for their Extra Care policy.

Just asking what are the views on others out there and your experiences if you have had any dealings at all with this company?

Baring in mind the car has now done 67k, it is a 52 plated ex lease vehicle and the problems I had when I first got it - wish I had this policy then...

It is not the body work that worries me as that is sound but the mechanical/engine/lpg side of the vehicle.

Can't speak for the LPG side but I had a policy for my old diesel corsa and they paid out when I needed them to without any problems... You just need to read up exactly what they cover (its in the policy wording) and if you need to, email/write to them to get any clarification regarding the LPG side... if it was a factory fit LPG I can't see there being any issues as long as the policy says it covers it - not so sure about aftermarket, though.

Relation had a BMW 320 insured with them. When the wheel came off (not literally) - they were very good - dealt directly with the dealer, cheque arrived within three working days.

I am into my 2nd year of cover with WD. My impression of the market as a whole. not any specific provider, is that they are keen to take your money and not as keen to pay out claims! However, as the owner of a French diesel car with a Pariculate Filter and many potential problems I regard it as money well spent. Just look in the Tech Forum! About 30% of the worthy Screwloose's comments relate to these matters

There are so many way out clauses that you'd be lucky to get reimbursement when required.

Search in moneysavingexpert forum - there are several threads on WD.

Thanks to all for the heads up on this company.

Far too much negative feedback on other sources for me to go with them.

The vehicle is well maintained and serviced so if something does go wrong I would be most surprised and if that is not tempting fate I don't know what is!
