Howdy - I'm new on here so apologies if this has been asked before.
I saw 2 people carrier type vehicles this morning with the VOSA logos and Speed Camera pictures on them.
Do VOSA now issue speeding tickets? I thought they were in charge of MOTs and truck testing.

I think it likely that a Camera logo just means a camera, regardless of type! As VOSA's remit includes MOTs it could be that they are using ANPR cameras to spot cars without valid MOT according to their crummy database!

In this country now, almost everyone somehow associated with government has the right to issue tickets for something or other. It's the only growth industry we have.

We have had the DVLA outsourced (via NCP?) vans prowling around clamping cars that are not taxed. Better to drive around (even late at night) and clamp vehicles that are not taxed.
We are taxed to the hilt here, but for those of us paying then others should not get away. But I'm more against driving without insurance....
