the red light handbrake light has started to flash intermitently but this only happens when either i dip the clutch or i accelerate brake pads are ok as are the back breaks so any clues of where to look for this fault?

check the brake fluid level, it'll be low which is obviously dangerous, then you need to find the leak, most probably a rear wheel cylinder if your car has rear drum brakes.

thanks mate i,ve checked the fluid and it is down so i,ll book the car in tommorow at the garage
