2006 2.0 Loss of power,dpf light on, tcs light on - Barlysuger
Mazda Diesel...34,500miles....taken to dealer who said the oil & filter needed changing, service due in about another 1100 miles.....their diagnostic machine told them nothing, cannot believe its oil & filter.........any ideas?? they have charged me £70 already, not inclined to trust them.....help......Barlysuger

If it is the DPF fluid and filter that they propose changing as opposed to the engine oil and filter that makes sense.

Unless the DPF system detects dirty engine oil via emmisions - doubt it.

Dont know why the TCS light would be on though tackling the DPF first might make sense.

I had same problem, requires a DPF sensor (mine was <3 years so warranty) Yours should be same!!
